Because it needs to seem real to throw people off the trail, duh.

Anyone who’s familiar with conspiracy theories knows there’s always a way to combat logic.

      2 reasons.

1.. to make it seem like it wasn't fixed

2.. in case Kovalev had a change of heart, he would be in the depleted condition to start off with.

I’m shocked you wouldn’t know this since you’re so familiar with ignoring logic and promoting conspiracy theories.
Lmao. But people think its fixed anyway. Surely these people that been in the boxing game would put together a better plan that, "add a weight clause and no one will think its fixed"

these guys that took an L (kov, donaire) these arent bums!!! why would any of them take more money just to lose and fvvvck up all the accomplishments they've been working for all their career? you act like they havent seen money.

why would kov take the extra money and lose to canelo when if he beat canelo he'll be the man and make more money? same with donaire. why would they lose on purpose just for a few more millions when if they win, they'll make even more! think about it man!!!
Because if he didn't agree then he wouldn't get the fight at all. Not saying it was fixed but if it was that's how it would go down. If it was fixed it was prior to the last offer from GB and possibly before he fought Yarde.

Kovalev was doing the 10lb rehydration clause all the time he was unified champ. Now people can blame the rehydration clause, even though Kovalev's jab looked like absolute garbage from the opening bell, and his right hand was MIA.

But if you think you saw a Kovalev who tried to win in there, hats off to you.

So GBP hid the rehydration clause last day so that Fat Dan could leak it? Oh no wait, it was a Kovalev insider..

                it doesn't add up

It’s all a part of the plan!

If they just came out and announced it, everyone would know it was a ploy to hid the fact that the fight was fixed.

                  Duh.

I want to make it clear that I don’t believe Kovalev-Canelo was fixed.

I know some of you think I do so I wanted to make it clear.

                      Let's take the realistic approach.

Canelo Alvarez is considered the most lethal counter puncher in the game.

GGG series: Jabs...what was the reason why he didn't throw bombs like his whole career? We in the forum pointed that out..

Jacobs: Jabs...''soft jabs'' continuously, and whenever Jacobs attempted hard hitting combinations, missed! Jacobs is significantly faster than both GGG and Kovalev

Fielding: Jabs jabs jabs. no effect. Consider Fielding as a proxy player for reach testing, nothing more, and again, Jacobs has long ass reach

KOvalev: Jabs jabs jabs. ''GGG has a stronger jab than kovalev.'' Everyone on this forum for years said GGG has a better and stronger jab than Kovalev.

Also, KOvalev missed many shots against Ward and even Eleider… is it unrealistic that Canelo, whom can bounce back retreat on the backfoot for incoming offensive combos not successful with KOvalev?

Whenever KOvalev threw a hard right Canelo pulled back and countered with an uppercut. those same moves GGG did and Canelo throw an uppercut.
