a younger Doniare stops him in 8 or 9. I like 'em both. I've been a Donaire fan for years. I hope the man retires because I don't want to see him take another beating like this. And he only took it late. He shocked me by going toe to toe and even rocking Inoue more than once. I actually thought he was about to stop Inoue. We probably would view Doniare like he do some of the other greats had he stayed at bantamweight. It's amazing that he was able to make it now and have a competitive fight with this monster.

My advice to Inoue is to stay at bantamweight. I can't see him beating a lot of the top jr fws.. There is no doubt in my mind that Vargas flattens him.

Rigondeaux moving down to Bantamweight as well. Division is very interesting.

Anyone else saw flashes of Zaragoza vs Morales in this fight?

        Truly passing of the torch

Inoue fought some rounds only with his left, the right had to protect that early cut. Great job

btw, I hope no one from Cali is complaining about the time of this fight like boxingego lol. Especially when all of us on the east coast have to sit through garbage undercard fights for midnight main events regularly.

I don't think that Donaire was passing the torch... he was all in...

i know. That's why I hope he just stays at bw and cleans it out. Or even goes down for a big showdown with Estrada Remember years ago when Chocolatito vs Inoue was the big fight of the future?

I don't envy you. These early morning fights just don't have the same party vibe as the evening fights. However, this was an awesome fight and worth staying awake for.
