Comments Thread For: Sky's Smith: Joshua Told Me He'll Fight 5-10 Years - Even if Ruiz Wins

According to Sky Sports' Head of Boxing, Adam Smith, former world champion Anthony Joshua will continue to fight for another five to ten years - even if he loses his next fight. Joshua, 30 years-old, will attempt to get revenge on December 7th in Saudi Arabia, with the British star looking to recapture the WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO heavyweight titles from Andy Ruiz.

Will he even have 5-10 more fights?

AJ has already made a lot of money and there’s a sell by date on his style.

The Robot came to the U.S and had a system overload! The hype & hoopla of having to prove himself at the historic boxing mecca of the world proved too much on his Eddie Hearn bootleg resistors!!

Joshua winning this rematch can be epic for his confidence and his drunken fans 12 step recovery programs! More photo shoots will be inevitable leading to more dough, teen girl craze & vitamin commercials!!

Joshua can beat this kid if he stays alert and uses that muscle and height advantage; making about 7 more yrs in the game a lot more bearable. I'm rooting for a new and improved robot in the rematch. "We can rebuild him"....the Bionic Man can be real!!!

He's assuming Hearn and the British public will stick with him that long when they have Dubois, the Juggernaut, Callum Smith, Billy Joe, Fury and Eubank to dote on. He'll be back to domestic level fighting Chisora and Whyte

Let's see if he can fight for another 10 minutes first.

He needs more confidence in his abilities. Without that he won’t last another 2 years.

Here's hoping 'Sky Sports’ Head of Boxing' which is a pseudonym for 'Fast Eddie Hearn's Paid Employee' is more astute relaying a conversation than he is at commentating.
His commentary during the recent Taylor-Prograis fight was a new low in a career behind the microphone, already noted for setting the bar low.
