I think it would be the same. No better and no worse. He is a boxer with great natural ability who tries to learn as much as he can and tries to constantly improve his skills and get better. I don't believe he learned that much from one fight with Mayweather or any one single fight. It was what he learned from over 50 pro fights and so many years of practicing and improving his skills in the gym and hundreds of rounds of sparring that made him the fighter he is today. He would have done that same training, sparring and perfecting his skills if he never fought Mayweather. I don't think getting beat up by Mayweather for 36 minutes changed him into a new much smarter and better boxer. He may have watched film of his fight with Mayweather to study what mistakes he made and how he could improve and correct those mistakes.

He would be Julio Cesar Chavez Jr with more discipline and an undefeated record.
