Comparing Floyd and Canelo @29 yrs of age, Accomplished Opponents at age

Floyd’s style is unique to him, and I think it’s all wrong for almost everyone. I wish in ring weights were mandatory so we could stop all the speculation. He whooped Canelo for sure. The first JLC fight was close either way, but then that’s why there’s rematches. The first Maidana fight was competitive, and I’d have been okay with Less than a Mayweather win. My brother watched it with the sound turned off as he often does, and had Mayweather winning. Manny and Oscar didn’t win no matter how much people wish it was true.2 of the exact same threads because the people interviewed at Floyd's gym said he learned from losing to Canelo. just ridiculous.
Floyd was high risk, low reward until he became the man after beating ODH. Canelo has been a draw from a young age so it isn't surprising he has more "name value" in his opposition.
When they fought, Floyd showed beyond any doubt who the better fighter was.Comment

Mayweather has a better record and he deserved to win all his fights except the first fight with Castillo which he lost by a point or two in my opinion. Canelo was easily defeated by Mayweather. Mayweather had the advantage of experience and it was at a catchweight that drained Canelo some most likely. But Canelo was the bigger man and had the advantage of being in his early physical prime at 23 to Mayweather's 37. Canelo lost two close fights to GGG in my opinion. I think Mayweather has the better resume when both were 29 years old.Comment

I probably should of elaborated a bit more, but what I mean by record is his quality of opposition. Even if Canelo beat more, we all saw how Floyd dismantled himThat's not how ATG's are measured. Did SRR lose? Did Ali lose? If Wilder surpasses 50-0, was his level of opposition better than Floyd's?
The point is the current propaganda that Canelo isn't fighting guys younger than 30. So are these guys below ok if added? They are all former or current champs.
Bivol is 28
Callum Smith 29
Benavidez 22
Plant 27
Charlo 29
Zurdo 28Comment

Yeah but the consistency of posts from posters not acknowledging the theme of age at 29 is understandable. It’s it “elaborated” that Canelo isn’t retired? Of course Canelo’s current legacy doesn’t surpass Floyd’s. The point is to compare what Canelo is doing now. Should I have chosen De La Hoya at 29 instead?
If you guys continue scratching your heads with “29.” That’s because that’s Canelo’s age now. I want the Beterbiev fight, isn’t that risky? Next year Canelo is 30.Comment
