If you check the WBC rankings Tank was made mandatory, I think Fortuna is under him.. but I agree no tank fight Fortuna. But bottom line Tank has yet to fight anyone yet... how can you say its not Haney's belt when Tank has fought for 2 vacant WBA belts.. this makes the 2nd one.

There is no way on this earth that Tank makes 5 million a fight unless they gave him some sort of huge signing bonus up front and you add that into his average purse. There are few guys in this sport who could come close to that number realistically.

      Wilder
      Joshua
      GGG
      Canelo
Maybe Spence when he fought Porter?

Even Crawford ain't sniffing 5 mill anytime soon unless he and Spence fight. Loma not even close either.
I'm not arguing that Gervonta Davis is making $5m a fight (and even on the $5m offer, depending on what Floyd's piece is, you're really talking about $3.5m to Davis; Kovalev getting $12m, but paying Top Rank it's $2m plus whatever piece Main Events got exposes some folleys of just looking at the sticker price).

I'm arguing that Gervonta Davis is on enough money now, doing business in a way that he knows and that is comfortable that the premium (if there is even any) isn't worth having someone run you the way they see fit.

Gervonta Davis is a headline fighter now; I don't know if he's maxed out yet, but the old rule of thumb would have Davis on $1.5m-$2m in disclosed purses (nevermind the rest of the money).

Fighting where he wants to fight, and all that jazz.

Giving that up for a capped $3.5m doesn't make much sense, especially if that ends up meaning no one gets to see the fight anyway.

Davis has dates; Farmer doesn't. Davis is a champion; Farmer is a champion. Make the deal.

$2m Farmer/$5m Davis would basically put things just short of 70/30 Davis (which makes sense, tbh).

Make that the deal, stage the fight at Barclays Center (or Vegas if the money makes sense), Showtime/CBS backs it with the marketing money, and you see how big a pie Davis and Farmer can build together.

Are you trying to say that Farmer does currently have a deal with DAZN?

I'd really appreciate a link, lol.

First time I'm hearing $7m associated with any DAZN offer, and it's sure as heck the first time hearing that Davis is already earning over $7m to fight.

All these mfers happy enough when they making good bank for bs fights. Hell the least happy mfer in this mix of cats is Haney & hes the one making the best & boldest claims. I wonder if he'll walk the same walk when hes making a couple mill per fight & more. Hopefully he will but I feel like the odds are against it just cuz most cats talk like Thurman when he was a contender & then they talk about their biggest threats to losing like Thurman did when he was the #1 guy to most or many anyway.

Mfers outlook get changed & it changes their words & actions a lot.

Truth. They're all hungry but once their belly's start getting full they get content real quick to just BS around and make bank while taking no chances anymore.

It's no longer about legacy, it's about filling your pockets and taking less risk along the way. They win, we lose.

Look at Wilder, Charlo, Tank, etc.
This is boxing nowadays. Fk the fans.
Charlo tried to fight Canelo but the WBC and ODH conspired against him. Yet you blame Charlo for that. The WBC cut him out so they can assure they keep getting their cut from Canelo's fights knowing if he loses to Charlo that 3% gut is a lot less.

When will you ever blame the people and the sanctioning bodies/organizations that block the fights you allegedly want to see so bad?

You never find fault with TR, DAZN, GBP, and the sanctioning bodies and networks putting finances ahead of what fans want. Yet if PBC puts finances first like them you make it out to be the end of the sport.

                  Why the difference??
