    Erdei takes another name

WBO Light Heavyweight Champion Zsolt "Madár" Erdei of Hungary defeated Thomas Ulrich (29-3-0 (19)) of Germany by UD in a 12 round bout. Zsolt Erdei remains undefeated with a 25-0-0 (15ko's) record. The offical scorecards were 120-108 118-110 116-112, yet another impressive victory over a respected boxer.

Erdei biggest victories come from two close decisions over Argentian prospect Hugo Hernan Garay 26-2-0 (13ko's), TKO of Australian Paul Murdoch, and wide UD of Julio Gonzalez of Mexico for the WBO Light Heavyweight title. Erdei is set for bigger names and hopefully a fight in the states.

There are many options left to Erdei who could take a fight against the winner of Thomazs Ademek's rematch with Paul "Hurricane" Briggs set for October but thats some time away. Perhaps a fight with recently dethroned Antonio Tarver or even Roy Jones Jr. himeself is more likely.

My first shot at a articule, be nice.

Erdei's record indicates that he is a good boxer but with little power he may not be a huge success in the US.He does make for an attractive fight with big names like Roy Jones Jr. for example. He is a good fighter with a good record but little power. He should be the fighter that Roy fights when he decides to step up his level of opposition.

I would seem so the guy can box for sure I think him and glen johnson should fight and if johnson had problems with wood eruidi might be to much he is slick balaced and is not afraid of power. He looks like the man to beat at LH.

Its not really an impressive victory, Ulrich is only a European level fighter.

He still has his two wins over Hugo Hernan Garay who even Ring magezin still have him in the top 10 because he destroys everyone else. Erdei is the future of the division.

It was a impressive victory last night because he dominated Ulrich who is not a bad fighter.
