    Will Alvarez fight him?

I’m going to go with f**k no.

    What do you think?

        why not

When the last time Alvarez inflicted Mexican on Mexican violence

his opponents have not been his countrymen

Mexican vs Mexican is a tradition in boxing

          Not at all.

I expect Canelo to move back down, go seek another low difficulty fight with a solid resume attached.

I can't think of any legacy or big money fights for him right now though. I would 100% tune into a Canelo v. Ward fight though.

I'd respect the living hell out of Canelo for taking that fight.

Canelo would beat Ramirez on points

I'd have to say so too, Zurdo's big but not really on Canelo's level skillwise. It's possible he was drained at SMW and will look better at 175, but the guy who struggled mightily with Jessie Hart and Vlasov would look pretty clumsy against canelo I think. Still that's a lot of reach Gilberto got and he ain't no Rocky Fielding... interesting fight. Would watch.

Is he supposed to be afraid of Zurdo? The guy has never fought anyone 2 levels below Canelo nevermind elite...

Yeah he's a decent fighter but I think people are too impressed with his 88-0 record against low level opposition, to put it nicely. He's got a nice size and output but I don't think he can hurt Canelo and like you say skillwise it's no competition
