Has Marquez beaten any good boxers, or does he just beat the come face forward type like the baby bulls and Katsidis? He lost to Chris John, Freddie Norwood, Mayweather, Bradley, but has he beaten anyone on his resume that doesn't play into his punching bag/easy to counter type guys?

      1. Manny Pacqiaou
      2. Marco Antonio Barrera
      3. (Prime) Orlando Salido
      4. Joel Casamayor
      5. Juan Diaz
      6. Mike Alvarado

Split Decision and WAR with Timothy Bradley.

Canelo has never been in the ring with the level of talent that marquez opposition has possessed.

          1. Pacquiao isn't a true boxer that I'm speaking of, his style fits right into Marquez's counter punching
          2. MAB, Marquez gets credit for this but Pacquiao beat an old MAB?
          3. Salido, maybe? is this the only one?
          4. Casamayor, the grandpa?
          5. Diza, come forward baby bull?
          6. Alvardo? he's a "good" boxer? didn't he come off of rehab and get knocked half way across the ring from a memo enhanced Marquez?

"war" with Bradley? the same Bradley that made him do the backstroke?

Any true boxers like a Mayweather or Bradley that Marquez defeated? Would Morales/MAB ever lose to a Norwood or John?

Marquez is overrated. Only relevant due to the KO over Pacquiao which you can actually attribute about 50% to Pacquiao’s own mistake and aggression.

My question to you would be, What elite level fighter did canelo face (when they werent old, washed up and different fighters)

Cotto (35 years old) had already been in many wars, in never was same after the Margarito fight.

Kovalev (36 years old) Old, washed up, maybe has 1 fight in him left, he may retire now, who knows.

GGG (37 years old) old, alot slower, slow reflexes, due to his age. They intentionally waited GGG out.

Mosley (41 years old) 41 years old speaks for itself.

He was schooled and walked down at times against a 36 year old smaller guy, Floyd Mayweather.

                He lost to Lara.

Like Cmon now, If anything Canelo has the most controversial cherrypicked resume in boxing right now.

His best win is Lara a fight he looked pedestrian in that some say he lost.
