Canelo's most realistic chance of winning a HW strap

Even though back in March, I said Canelo could beat Tyson Fury, Canelo's most realist chance of winning a HW strap would be to fight the winner of Joshua/Ruiz. After Ruiz beat Joshua, a lot of people said Joshua was exposed and proved to not be anything special, and with Ruiz, he has nice pop, but will anyone really say Ruiz will be able to land on Canelo like he did on Joshua? Pretty interesting and I think Oscar, if you're reading this, make this happen and push Canelo even further into greatness.

my thread back from March on Canelo beating Tyson Fury

well he could probably beat that fat kid ruiz because they have a similiar reach but joshua/wilder would knock that redhead out and tyson would cruise to an easy ud.
canelo blocks most of the punches with his highguard waiting for the opening/moment where he can counter with his left hook, the thing is wilder/joshua would smash his brain around even when he blocks those punches in his highguard, no chance for that gingerboy

It's hard for me to picture a HW version of Canelo.

That said, I might favor him against any champion....maybe. Hard to tell given I can't hardly even picture the kid as a HW. He's not too short I guess...I dunno, Burns is the shortest but has anyone since the 200 minimum been under 5'9"? RJJ is 5'11", Tyson was 5'10".

Guess he'd kinda look like Mike? Dangerous.

Thats funny is hell, sad but true.
Joshua doesnt have a chin, and Ruiz cant hurt canelo imo. and would be getting countered all damn night. They are just too slow. Now Fury would dance circles around Canelo all night easy win, Wilder would Stop Nelo, Ortiz would stop nelo.

Of course Canelo can beat any HW. He is stronger, faster and has better technique.

Canelo-Ruiz would sell like crazy on Cinco de Mayo 2020.

I'd be intrigued by him fighting at HW. I am 100% sure he would lose to Fury and Wilder. Put him in there with "no soul", glass jaw Joshua, though, to gage his potential.
