    Who is Canelos next opponent

Anyone who doesn't suck Canelos nuts knew that once he moved to 175 that he wouldnt be able to come back to 160. So much for unifying 160.

No different than Mikey going to 147.

Now that Canelo actually has said just this who do you think his next opponent will be?

Keep in mind they have to be all of the following:

    1. A big name
    2. Who is past his prime and on the slide

    With the condition of

    3. Pulling up a fighters who fight in a smaller division
    4. Catchweight
    5. Rehydration clauses

Who do you think fits this criteria 160-175?

    I'd say GGG.

Not only is he the biggest name available but now Canelo holds every possible advantage over GGG.

He was able to wait GGG out by fighting at 155 because he was "small" for 3 years. Then dropped the WBC belt. Fought at SMW. Got busted for PEDs. Still couldnt separate himself from GGG. Didnt fight GGG a 3rd time because he didnt like him.

Now all of a sudden it might make sense.

GGG will be 38 years old at the 160lb limit when Canelo will want the fight at at least 168lbs where he has a huge size advantage.

GGG looked pretty vulnerable in his last few fights and hasnt looked good with his new trainer. GGG will also most likely have to pull a Kovalev because hes fighting in the spring already to make the cinco de mayo date.

    Who is next?

I think his next 3 will be GGG in May, September maybe Bivol, then Hopefully Beterbiev. Those would be 3 good fights. he easiest would be Bivol, then GGG , then would be fun to see him try a Beast Like Beterbiev.

Canelo beats his ***. Same with Charlos, Spence, Andrade. etc. Maybe you could throw in a guy like Smith , but Canelo gets him too.

That would be a good fight style wise Mister Wolf. Plant is slick, but i wonder if the moment may be too big for him.?

He has plenty of options on DAZN.

              GGG 3
              Callum Smith
              Andrade
              BJS
              Bivol
              Jacobs 2

Charlo, Zurdo, or Benavidez would be good options as well from other networks.

I actually think Canelo/Golovkin at 168 would be much better for Golovkin. He looked physically better at 164.

I never realized Beterbiev was 5'11". I always thought he was much bigger for some reason and was going to dismiss it as an unfair/uninteresting fight.

They actually have relatively similar frames. Makes you realize how ridiculous "Caneloweight" was.

Imagine Beterbiev somehow dehydrating down to 155 and fighting Khan/Angulo/Cotto/etc

Bivol and Callum are probably the most obvious fights right now.

Golovkin 3 shouldn't happen, but financially it might. Money talks. Canelo will set the weight wherever he wants (heavy, since Golovkin fights near natural weight) and Golovkin will be cashing out.
