It was much hyped the president was even there plus the rock and countless other celebrities plus UFC does more views now than boxing in the USA unless it's a canelo vs ggg or pacquiao fight (Mayweather's retired) yet McGregor sales more ppv than canelo now in the USA 3 million plus ppv and 1 2.4 m ppv fight vs khabib .Jon Jones usually does 700k-1m ppv on avg. Gsp usually does 1m when fight. Nate Diaz does Jon Jones numbers thanks to Diaz personality and Mexican supporters and the fact it was against a tough striker that talks a good game that's Hispanic and is garnering a cult like following like Diaz in masdival and the fact they postponed the canelo fight for the Diaz vs masdival fight shows alot that the UFC gets great ratings on big fights. Didn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out for they wouldn't delay a canelo fight for a bellator or PFL fight

Boxers unless a Paulie mag punch harder than mma fighters except for say anthony Johnson or Francis ngannou but they're an anomaly. But kicks are harder than punches is more torque to it and if you have conditioned shins you can break baseball bats with kicks. My point is Jorge is like a really tough former Street fighter from Dade county that's an actual good tough mma fighter that's in the UFC not your local promotion so if can take kicks I doubt it'll end in 1 round if there is a lot it'll be a gradual wear down stoppage in the late rounds. But I see this going to a unanomious decision win for canelo. I Don't blame Jorge for trying to get a mega 8 figure check I'll go get kod quick by AJ or canelo for an 8 figure check for the only fights in UFC that'll get u 8 figures for a match is a McGregor fight. Maybe a mega fight vs Diaz or khabib other than that nah it's 6-7 figures for a major fight

Yeah completely true though 245 probably gonna do a killing it ratings but not like 244. I'm actually a die hard fan of all combat sports boxing mma and kickboxing and I kickbox and box I would try my hand at mma as well but I prefer striking I hate fighting people that only want to grapple 24/7 so I Don't wanna face a Ben askren Jon fitch type fighter throw 1 strike then for the next 14:50 of the fight they're grappling me against the cage or mat. I blame promotions for the demise of boxing in the USA not putting AJ vs wilder Spence vs Crawford, lomachanko vs Davis where as the UFC gives you the fights you want to see and I blame ESPN n Fox sports for not promoting fighters better those are the main reasons of boxing demise in the USA for there more casual fans than die hard fans the casuals would tune in if there was better more public promotion of fights. Like how many advertisements did we see for Spence vs Porter or Spence vs Garcia ECT not much and if they advertise it on television they'll wait 3 days before the fight only with pacquiao and canelo would they advertise the fight on television like the ufc does a month ahead like order now such and such vs such and such on such and such date and the commercial is like 3 weeks before the fight.
