clear of monster Beterbiev because the chechen is on ESPN+, but then Canelo has either Bivol at
175 or Callum at 168. Unless GBP talks either guy into some type of 'deal' to fight Canelo, I honestly
see the mexican losing profoundly to either guy. I really see Canelo getting brutally KO'd by the tall
brit. Him and Bivol will be a good contest but I cannot see a legit decision victory by the mexican over
the young ossetian without bought off judges.
Lol what is it with you guys and Bivol? Acting like he’s a beast. Dude can box, yeah. But so can Canelo.

Given the other 2 decisions and GGG slipping, is III win in doubt at all?

Koval is well known and faded among the champs at lightheavyweights!

If Ruiz Jr. beats Joshua again why not stage an all Mexican heavyweight championship fight with Canelo? I think Canelo can bean Ruiz.

                Re

Um, Beterbiev is in his mid-thirties, and older than Canelo. He'd still murder Canelo though.

What’s the point of fighting them? LHW is already a mission accomplished for him. He got a belt he’s already a 4-div champ. He can safely go back to 160-168 and fight guys his size. The only added accomplishment for him would be to jump all the way to 200 and try to beat a title holder in there which would be insane

Canelo beat the best known light heavyweight, not the best light heavyweight. I think he has a chance against the monster Beterbiev and the slick Bivol, but I'm not saying he would beat them. If he wants to be greater he should fight them. But yes, the odds don't look good to beat one of those guys. They are not damaged goods as Kovalev clearly was. I was disappointed the way Kov was mainly throwing pitty pat punches the whole fight. He didn't throw his more powerful jabs, and the big right hand he never threw with force. Buddy McGirt's plan was half right but not all correct.

I wouldn't rule out Canelo's chances against Bivol, especially on home turf. Bivol is quite small at the weight and isn't a huge puncher, he relies on skill for his wins and I'm not sure any amount of skill is enough to compensate for Nevada officiating in a Canelo fight. Beterbiev is an absolute monster though, and would take anything Canelo can dish out to bludgeon the Mexican star into a stoppage - even if he has to pick himself up in the process like he did against Callum Johnson.
It's a similar situation at 168, Canelo could out-point Saunders or Plant on home turf (with-or-without controversy) but Smith and Benavidez are big enough and strong enough to overwhelm him physically. They both would stop him at some point over 12 rounds no matter how good Canelo's chin is.
