Who the "Favorite" is, is determined by the PEOPLE who PUT THEIR MONEY where their mouth is.

The betting public, and their confidence in their fighter/team/player, etc, is what the Book-makers ultimately base the odds on.

a fix fight to make a PED cheater looked good? Nahhhh not even close. Canelo don't have a win that isn't controversial.

A confirmed cheater never should be taken into account for honours.

candidates for fighter of the year:

andy ruiz - if he beats joshua again
                canelo - jacobs and kovalev
pacquiao - thurman and broner (if you considered him top 5 before they fought)
josh taylor - baranchyk and prograis
cancio - if he beats alvarado (2 wins against top 5 opponent + 3rd good win)
naoya inoue - if he beats donaire

it's canelo at the moment. i would give it to ruiz if he beats joshua again. estrada would be a frontrunner if his fight with yafai went as planned (in december).

Donnie Nietes is fighter of the decade.

He won four championships this decade and none of them were the WBA regular belt.

                    He’s undefeated at 17-0-2.

He defeated another four division champion.

The end. No one can match that run.
