I think this win will give Canelo a real chance to be FOTD. He would be my leading candidate now.

However he did test positive for PED’s which should disqualify him for that award.

I am not suggesting or implying he used PED’s every fight. I am just saying there should be real consequences for positive PED tests and disqualifying someone for FOTD and ultimately the IBHOF would be real punishment.

I also think this would be a deterrent to other fighters using.

Enough with the PED talk. All industry know and are in shame what happened in the scene during Toney or RJJ�s time. Everyone knows. That�s the whole point of why boxing did advanced drug testing which included pre fight long days out blood and urine collection. That didn�t exist in Toney�s or RJJ�s time. Toney been selected for 2022 I believe.

Anyways, Hauser been at Canelo�s locker rooms recently in his fights. He�s the Don for BWAA.

Again posters here are naive. Any whistleblowing of the scene puts all in shame and messes with the integrity. Nobody spoke of such things before anyways since you be blacklisted from boxing, so the job was the job. When advanced anti doping came along it gave a breather for more writers to talk about it since it was an open forum
