The rematch saw the beginning of a marked shift to the more tactical countering and timing approach employed in his next three outings including tonight. The hokey narrative is that he called Golovkin's bluff and threw the meheecahn style right back in his face, when in reality it was mostly hard precision countering and a steely reluctance to be backed up again.
