Mexican come forward style with body attack seems to break down Eastern Euro boogeyman.
Is Mexican style kryptonite to Eastern Euro style?

Except, no wreckless come forward rock em robot Mexican style in sight since GGG2, and honestly little of it there. The rematch saw the beginning of a marked shift to the more tactical countering and timing approach employed in his next three outings including tonight. The hokey narrative is that he called Golovkin's bluff and threw the meheecahn style right back in his face, when in reality it was mostly hard precision countering and a steely reluctance to be backed up again. So no, "Mexican style" isn't eastern Euro kryptonite at all, but what Canelo has actually been doing is a pretty good response.Comment

From where I've been looking most Mexican fighters have been losing recently? Maybe that's why u are all pretending kovalev isn't 36 with a couple of stoppage losses....Comment

Lol...Nelo stopped Kov with a head shot...and GGG outworked Canelo in both fights...you are like 1 for 3 here at best...not a good ratio
I can't think of any other Mexican/Eastern Euro matchups of note really.Comment

Yes. Eastern Euros aren't aren't good inside fighters usually.
Stephen "Breadman" Edward says that (in general) the Mexican style beats the Eastern Euro style which beats the black American style which beats the Mexican style.
There are exceptions but for the most part I think he is right.Comment
