Straight lies, Kovalev threw way more punches than Canelo. Compubox is trash...

Shocking that these guys get paid to put out BS numbers that are always so far wrong. They are used as a tool by networks to trick casuals that they are seeing the fight the way the networks want them to.

Ppl who debate that compubox is more accurate than them watching a live fight are fckin clowns especially when a fighter clearly is landing twice as many power shots & compubox agrees. Nothing is perfect but these numbers are better than most biased mofckas on this site watching live & texting on bsn while doing it

5-5-1 Even in landed overall punches. 9-1-1 Canelo in landed power punches.

That shows how effective Kovalev's jab was. Ususlly power punches rule the scoring of rounds, Canelo had a wide edge there yet the rounds more align with the overall punch stat numbers at 6-4x2 & 5-5 at the time of the KO.

Effective? Canelo gave up some rounds mid late when Kova got his last breath with activity. But overall most of Kovalev’s jabs were just dodged by Canelo’s high guard. Canelo very stocky and most of the weight is southbound which helps with incoming shot resistance and also his planted power assertiveness.

Punch stats look pretty spot on.

Kovalev was throwing a lot of jabs but not landing a lot.

                    Canelo was far less wasteful.

I had it 6-4 to Canelo at the time of the stoppage.

Can't understand how people gave Kovalev more rounds.
