Cant take a body shot, cant take a head shot. Poor stamina too.
This dude is the LHW Amir Khan

Good champion who could always dish it out, but could never take it.

After Ward-Kovalev 2. He was never the same. He's old, he's aged kind of bad too.

He was past his prime for a while now. The best Kovalev was fighting Pascal 2, and Ward 1

Alcohol and going through multiple ring wars will do that to a human. Almost everyone on these forums has known that he is way past his best. Tonight shouldn't have been a shock to anyone.

Ward 1 took a toll on him mentally.
Ward 2 took something out of him physically.
Alvarez 1 woke him up a little bit, but also took something out of him.

Shame he never got the kudos after Ward 1, and then shame we never saw what happened the rest of his career after that..but life ain't fair...he still had a great career and should retire a rather wealthy man

              Bull ****.

He beat Ward the first match.

He's shot. It happens to even the best of boxers.

Andre Ward isn't given enough credit for what he did to Sergey Kovalev. Before those fights Kovalev was towards the top of most people's P4P lists and talked about like a real killer. There was a time when he lived up to his "Krusher" name, used to go in there with some serious bad intentions and no afterthought for what was coming back at him. Ward bullied him, roughed him up and beat that out of him. Kovalev after the Ward fights has been like he got neutred.

Yes. In second fight, Ward won clearly and took Kovalev`s soul.
