    Every Kovalev loss has narrative except Alvarez fight what are your thoughts?

    Ward 1 Kovalev got robbed and I truly do believe Kovalev should have won that fight 7 to 5 with 1 kd they screwed him there.

    Ward 2 he got low blowed multiple times and stopped to early I think that fight is debatable Ward did what he supposed to do imo he might landed low but head shot is really what got Kovalev only complaints refree stop it to early with all those belts on line like that.

    Haven't seen this fight yet but watched highlights and from what I'm hearing it was fixed the ko did look a little suspect and everyone saying Kovalev did even try as hard or wasn't his usual self.

    What are your thoughts?

    Canelo held his own for the most part...landed some good shots but Kov was more active most rounds, behind the jab...the KO kind of came out of nowhere but hard to see how they would fix it like that...much easier to fix it from a body shot.

      Eleider Alvarez or Canelo Alvarez? Either way don’t matter two clear stoppages same as Ward rematch

        He's old, he's shot, definitely past prime.

        If he was as good as he was in Ward 1 or Pascal 2. I don't think Canelo would of ever fought him.

        Canelo's camp knows he's finished. Great career nonetheless but like a lot of Greats, losing is almost inevitable if you box for this long

          Eh...come on bro lol...nothing controversial about the Eleider KO...this one tonight was weird but can't say it was a bad stoppage...the Ward stoppage is a whole 'nother story...just controversial really, regardless of which guy you support

            I think Andre Ward is overrated but that stoppage was not controversial the body shots ended the fight and pretty much cracked Kovalev whose never been the same after that fight

            Any other beef you have with the ref is irrelevant the stoppage was clear as they come

              Bro the final shots (2 I believe) were literally on his balls lol...the right hand was great, and the body work overall was good...some shots were low even before the finish but fighting at home, he didn't get points off, it is what it is...but yeah there is at least some valid controversy there...especially with the finishing shots being squarely on the di.ck...you can't end a fight like that...I would say that if it were a guy I liked vs someone I don't as well.

                My thought are;

                Kovalev was winning the fight throughout the fight but was fighting very controlled, trying not to waste too much energy or leave himself open...he was "boxing"...although he landed some good body shots, surprisingly. Canelo was having a difficult time getting inside on Kovalev and was getting hit more than some fanboys want to admit.

                Kovalev was trying as hard as he could but Canelo was still strong at the end, while Kovalev was faded. I thought Canelo's only chance of winning was by KO, a few knockdowns or getting a gift from the judges. Credit to Canelo. He kept pushing and got a legit KO.....There was NOTHING suspect about the KO to anyone who isn't a schizoid personality. Canelo deserves credit for the win even if Kovalev is well past his best years.
