Does anyone else feel that tonight was a huge letdown?

From fights being stopped way too prematurely to having to wait until boxings Daddy Dana White said the card could begin, everything about tonight just felt so anti-climatic and as if it was a kick to the nuts to the sport.

    The waiting was atrocious.
They do this big power play and put the fight on the same date as the ufc.

And then they inexplicably just wait until it’s finished. It just sat there waiting... an absolute *****t show behind the scenes

The waiting was a bit crap, seemed to take for ever. But the Boxing calendar for the rest of the year is so heavy. It was better to do what they did than have it clash with the UFC. I was only able to see the main event so not sure what went down on the under card but the main event was decent.

But then im British so im used to having to wait up late for fights. Americans moaning that its getting on for 1 am, well its 6am here so stop moaning.

I loved it. Great fight with a lot of skill. Two people in the ring thinking. I much prefer fights like this rather than two bums like Gatti and Ward slugging it out with no skill.

Canelo's fault because his punch volume sucks

              Nah, somewhat boring fight.

I kind of knew Canelo would KO Kovalev.. I wish Kovalev at least tried his right hand. It's like it doesn't exist anymore :/

Everyone was saying earlier in the week there was no hype so it couldn't really let down much more. Old man Kovalev got his retirement paid for and Canelo got another cherry picked world title in a different division.

More proof of Floyd's impact on the sport of boxing. Wow. They would have never dared.
