Bar is so low for Canelo to get rounds

I used to like Mannix but he is towing the company line now with giving Canelo all these rounds.

All Canelo has to do is land a shot in some rounds and people will give it to him lol...he is fighting well enough tonight though and at times is landing the better shots...but probably should be behind...I'm not really scoring

Not sure how he has so many rounds for Canelo. Mora is calling his usual bias for Mexican fighters. Compubox numbers so far are bullshyt too.

Yeah I like looking at punches thrown numbers as much as anything with compubox...helps to tell a story

Kovalev was so hesitant and barely committed any power shots. I had it even 5-5 going in the 10th round and Canelo closed the show like a champ. Kovalev fought so cautious today against a smaller guy. Canelo is a BAD man. Unbelievable fighter he has turned himself out to be.

We will probably get Canelo/GGG III next May. If so, Canelo should clearly win that fight.

I give Canelo props for closing the show...that ending was suspect to me, just being honest...kind of came out of nowhere...I think Nelo was landing some better shots in some of the rounds, but was more or less getting outpointed in each round...but again wasn't actively scoring...can't think of one obvious round for him off the top of my head, and feel like Kov had a few.

Good fight...odd ending imo but Canelo's great, I don't hate on him...yeah after GGG's last fight, Canelo would be solid favorite now I think.

Early on Kovalev as more active and out landing him, but as the fight went on, Canelo was the one landing all the significant shots. Kovalev had a few good rounds mid way, but Canelo was the stronger fighter willing to get more of his big shots off.

Kovalev's strategy helped his stamina out but he definitely needed to throw some more power shots. Canelo had little respect for the shots coming his way and kept getting more and more confident.

Canelo vs Smith would be interesting.

Dead even fight until the knockout which is pathetic considering how old and shot Kovalev is.

Yeah it was a good fight...I agree that he was landing the better shots in some of those rounds, but was still getting more or less outworked imo...but that can make for close rounds...he was definitely in the fight before the KO, no doubt about it.

I would like to see Canelo vs some of those top guys at 168...I still think Beterbiev and some of the others at 175 may be a little too much for him to make a career out of...will be interesting to see what he does from here.
