Just what I knew when this fight was announced a farce of a fight that was bought and paid for. Kov not committing to his punches the entire fight, throwing pitty-pat punches. What a sham, Kov clearly took it easy on Canelo. Kov sold himself out for a big payday to GB and Canelo.

I agree you have to give Canelo credit for this win even if Kovalev was faded. Canelo’s resume is impressive and he’s faced the best of his era. Canelo/Ward needs to happen.

To those saying it was a dive you obviously know nothing about boxing
You're the one who doesn't know anything about boxing. Boxing has always been a very corrupted sport. Kov did not fight like he normally fights, throwing soft, light jabs the whole fight. Why was that? Kov was not committing to his punches at all. Why? I'll tell you why. It's because Kov was offered millions to take a dive and Kov made the decision to accept GBs offer and cash out. End of story. No one can logically explain why Kov who is the stronger, bigger and harder puncher never,at any point in the fight, utilized any of those advantages. Even the truly blind can see the fight was a sham.

Watching "Max on boxing" yesterday and he's got a segment he does with Ward, and I thought I perceived just a touch of ...man, the word left me here, darn it..Anyway, it seemed a subtle change occurred in how Ward was talking about tonight's fight and Canelo, in comparison to just only a few weeks ago. Who knows?

How can any “objective” fight fan hate on Canelo and his Hall of Fame career resume with titles in 4 divisions, Welterweight, Junior Middleweight, Middleweight, Light Heabyweight. Cleverly orchestrated career also.

Very accurate scorecard. At least one other person knows how to score a fight here

I bother to follow the sport because I love boxing and not all fights are fixed but this one was. You are living in a fantasy if you think boxing isn't highly corrupt. It's obvious your weak, sheeple mind can't handle the truth.
