This is the most disrespectful thing I’ve seen from the sport

I don’t think I’ve seen anything like this before. The fact that they have people who paid for this to wait for a completely different sport to finish their event before their main event is a new low for the sport. How anyone can accept that is unbelievable. Why did they think this was a good idea?

    Agreed. This is ridiculous.

Why not just go on a different date if they’re scared to go head to head properly

Definitely a bad look. There just weren’t any other options as they didn’t want this fight and the Ruiz/Joshua rematch in the same 30 days to drive subs.
I’m sure they were hoping Diaz would pull out of the UFC fight though that was probably never happening.

UFC asked DAZN to go on later and DAZN agreed. It's not the other way around.

Happened all the time with WWF and the "Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show".

But this is one reason PPV will always be king. You NEVER saw this on PPV. Ever. With any sport. Only on broadcast and cable channels.

DAZN owns the streaming, which means they shouldn't have it either; they should be in control. Something tells me Dana hooked up some payola to get Diaz spotlighted.
