nah fight wasn't fixed, everyone knew Kovalev was shot. He was lucky that he survived his last fight against the green Yarde. Leading up to the fight, Kovalev was just happy to be getting his retirement payday, and during the fight it showed. Never saw Kovalev that friendly with an opponent in the ring. Andre Ward was absolutely correct, this was not Krusher in there. Maybe there's some under the table bonus for Kovalev to fight like it was some sparring session, who knows, boxing is so corrupt anything can happen behind the scenes.

Kovalev wasn't shot and he's too big, too strong, and sets his punches up too well to ever lose to canelo, who's defense isn't good enough to keep kovalev from knocking him out.

This was a fight too dangerous for canelo to ever take, and you're telling me that oscar de la hoya, who would kill a baby to make a dollar and who has no concept of what "telling the truth" is would put his cash cow against a fighter who would knock him out?

Also canelo is a drug cheat, so him being in a fair oscar promoted fight would be more of a shocker than a fixed fight, which is what all his fights are.
