175 is probably what his in-ring weight was in many of his earlier fights. So yeah he is less lean but that's mostly because he didn't have to sweat every ounce of water out. Doesn't look too fat to me at all.

I actually think he looks softer than usual as well.

Not sure it was a good strategy to weigh in close to the light heavyweight limit.

Looking like a blown up middle weight, where he has the muscle, but a little bit more water and pudge than usual.

I think he is in for a really tough fight tonight. Kovalev can fight, and he will prove that.
But canelo is tough so I can see him ripping some big shots no matter what.

He looked great at 168 because that was before he failed some drug tests.

He probably just didn't have to dehydrate for the weigh in. And will be just 5 pounds above his normal weight.
