I was laughing at people saying there was no rehydration clause...you fools do know the a-side can just make the other guy sign a contract saying he cant open his mouth or he loses millions of dollars, right? i hope canelo loses, i fuccing hate this a-side rich boy privilege shyt, this is why most males view boxing as a joke nowadays and are switching over to mma. boxing is a rich boys club run by the establishment promoters and las vegas bookies mafiaComment

Seems fair.
That should not hinder his performance at all.
All fights should have at least a 10% re-hydration clause ring weight and 5% on the morning.Comment

Though it clearly wins in popularity by a landslide and that is definitely a pressing issue, I don't think it's necessarily the reason. I think it's more because MMA is simply more "in" now due to a convergence of mostly superficial factors, and most people are superficial, fickle sheep that turn with the wind like a weather vane. Or maybe I'm just not giving enough credit.I was laughing at people saying there was no rehydration clause...you fools do know the a-side can just make the other guy sign a contract saying he cant open his mouth or he loses millions of dollars, right? i hope canelo loses, i fuccing hate this a-side rich boy privilege shyt, this is why most males view boxing as a joke nowadays and are switching over to mma. boxing is a rich boys club run by the establishment promoters and las vegas bookies mafiaComment

Double rehydration clause?
No one asked for the damn fight, so why take on the man if you can’t beat him at his best?
Let’s go kovalev, keep him at arms length and punish canelo when he enters the firing range!
I really think Canelos poor foot movement will show in this fight.
His counters will not land as easy with the reach difference.Comment

yeh you're right, most mma fans are 'new' to combat sports and never watched boxing EVER, but still lots of guys who prefer boxing (myself included) that just watches mma instead some of the time because there is way too much politics in boxing. theres politics in mma too, but once the cage door closes the politics is nowhere to be found whereas in boxing, as political as it already is, the true politics starts in the ring. the illusion that its a fair sport has gone out the window many years ago - thats what happens when you have billion dollar collaborators controlling everything behind the scenes - the promoters, the networks, the managers, the commissions and the betting agencies. deep rooted boxing mafiaThough it clearly wins in popularity by a landslide and that is definitely a pressing issue, I don't think it's necessarily the reason. Sad that a NDA has to be signed by Team Kov. Damn Kov has to fight Clenelo, Ref,
Paid Judges, and the rehydration clauses: It’s really effed up bc GB and Canelo said they wanted a straight fight without catchweight etc... Kovalev gotta knock that block off Nelos shoulders to have a chance.Comment
