It was the hardest punch Ward ever threw and landed in his entire life and all it did was buckle Kovalev for a moment, didn't even drop him.

A TKO is a knockout. It’s why it counts as a knockout on a fighter’s record. It’s why there’s not a TKO category on someone’s record.

Canelo can win by knockout without having Kovalev on the ground taking a count too. These are basic and well known rules of boxing.

Two of those have the two best chins in boxing p4p, and who has ko'd Jacobs since Pirog many moons ago? I don't think Canelo can KO Kovalev but those fights don't discredit his power.

chavez has a great chin at 160 lbs. at a CW he got stopped by fonfara who isn't nowhere near the puncher kovalev is.
