Canelo shouldn't be mean to Oscar because Oscar is so good at buying those Vegas judges. GGG beat him twice in any other city in the world but Vegas. Kovalev probably needs a KO or at least a few knockdowns to win tonight.Comment

Besides what’s already been mentioned.
117-111 Canelo over Lara by Dave Moretti is up there too. I think Lara may have beaten Alvarez worse than GGG did the first time. 117-111 Lara is a pretty fair card IMHO and this was the opposite.
118-109 Alvarez over Trout deserves mentioning as well. That fight should have been scored somewhere around a draw, although the open scoring basically allowed Canelo to know he had won and he gave up the last four rounds.Let me school you guys on how to score fights!114-114 v Floyd was insane when you could make a case for Canelo not winning a round. You can say he didn’t even win a consecutive 15 seconds at any point in the fight
118-110 v GGG was very bad too. He lost that fight but he did win some rounds.
There’s been a few very wide ones in close fights such as Lara which I felt was a draw at best for Canelo.
The Mayweather one was just crazy. It was totally one sided.
Canelo vs Mayweather. Champion vs Champion, Unification. Judges know the circumstances, catchweight at 152, so both Champions gotta show up!
Round 1: 10-10 feel out Round, none of them portrayed dominance. Moretti goes to the house fighter.
Round 2: Showtime likes what they're seeing in Canelo. Floyd doesn't show dominance. Metcalfe liking how the youngbuck held it down. Ross gave it to Floyd. Remember, still champ vs champ. Floyd hasn't done any adjustments yet to ''school.''
Round 3: Moretti and Ross like how the young buck is being able to tag Floyd back.
Round 4: Floyd starts to get into his groove, knows the cards, has to put in more work, fights smarter, CompuBox is solid.
Round 5: FLoyd continues the consistency, figured out Canelo's rhythm.
Round 6: Floyd yet again, frustrating Canelo, in his groove..
Round 7: the best highlight round from Floyd which gives Showtime the best footage if ever to show its rivalry. Fans think Floyd is actually hurting Canelo, but in reality, and as Paulie said playing possum on the ropes, Canelo starts to fire back and tags Floyd consecutively. Here's where Canelo starts to put the foot on the gas in the second half.
Round 8: Canelo changes rhythm, a long awaited swing round since Round 2 imo. Ross likes the new pressure and adjustment that Canelo is willing to do.
Round 9: Canelo continuing to add pressure. Since Round 8, Floyd is being more cautious with defense, and both Moretti and Ross give it to the young Champion chasing Floyd. Adjustments
Round 10: Another swing round. Though Metcalfe felt Floyd got it by pressing forward even more. Ross and Moretti weren't impressed, accuracy is key now in the Championship rounds ahead.
Round 11: Reynoso team tell Canelo to keep pressing as much, the young Champion continues to press forward, impresses Moretti and Ross.
Round 12: Canelo yet again, seals his best round in the second half.
As you can see, there was no robbery of a card in this fight. I too had Mayweather winning, but Floyd did not ''school'' or give him a boxing lesson. A boxing clinic requires all or 11 rounds to one fighter. Moretti gave Canelo 4 rounds. As was seen by the consistency of all cards combined by varying rounds, it's not hard to understad that Ross gave two more swing rounds to Canelo in the rounds that made sense to give him. Nobody ever breaks down the rounds for what Ross scored because it interferes with the agenda.
At the end of the day, Canelo at that age securing 4 rounds to Floyd was very impressive for the manner on how Canelo tagged. Anybody whom watches Canelo in that fight as Canelo's fights progress will inevitably enjoy them more, and the kid did it at 152 when Floyd had already fought Oscar and Cotto at the full limit.
Floyd was Showtime's star fighter anyways. Of course their broadcast team is going to be biased or else it would contradict Showtimes 6 fight deal. Why would you give Showtime subscribers reasonable doubt to end their subscriptions by going against Floyd. conflicts of interest much on the biggest deal of boxing at the time.

learn how to score fights! lol. If Canelo didn't tag back Floyd, like Guerrero, Pac, Berto, Maidana, then there wouldn't be any swing rounds. Even Floyd put his dumbfounded look on the cards for Maidana 1, a tactic to make it seem its impossible to win rounds against him. But credit to Floyd and Haymon for carrying Maidana in that 2 fight series to milk out the contract for easy fights ending to Berto. Floyd was always too powerful for Maidana.Comment

Nothing was as blantant, wrong, or funny as that Draw scorecard.
The fact that they did vs the one guy bigger than Canelo after getting mopped for 12 rounds. SmhComment
