Comments Thread For: Arum: Canelo Fresher Than Kovalev, But Not A Gimme Fight

RENO, Nevada Bob Arum has a financial interest in the Canelo Alvarez-Sergey Kovalev fight. Arum's company, Top Rank Inc., will make a seven-figure sum from Kovalev's reported $12 million compensation package because Top Rank exercised its promotional options on Kovalev as part of Kovalev's deal for his rematch with Eleider Alvarez. Those options were required of Kovalev for ESPN+ to stream the Kovalev-Alvarez rematch as part of the network's exclusive content agreement with Top Rank.

Translation. Rocky Fielding rematch at a different weight. After paying out both purses DAZN will regret this matchup.🥊

Canelo will only be effective inside those long arms (known for a very good jab) with speed he may or may not carry to this weight. However, with the rehydration clause and all the other non boxing (real boxing) Karpov that goes with it, it is a gimme fight as far as I’m concerned. My money is on kov by ko or the Vegas 8itch on points, just like triple G.
Triple G beat this kunt twice but yet, because triple G didn’t ko the bum, he gets a loss on his ticket and as we all know too well, it’s the home money favourite or fack off.
Sooner arum and the boxing cosa nostra are gone, the better.

Kovalev is much better than Rocky Fielding.
