I mean beating RJJ at this point is pointles sit means nothing when your ass was so easily spanked prime for prime.

Also Hopkins has aged much better, no doubt Toney is the type of fighter that ages well too although hes inactive as far as I know.

Shouldnt Hopkins challenge Toney instead for a better challenge and a more meaningful competition?

RJJ could adapt to anyone Hopkins couldnt even adapt to RJJ in his prime and he has a poor match up in James Toney who RJJ also aced with ease (which some how tarnished his record because he was too dominant!???You work that one out)

James Toney is the only 1 calling everyone out his whole career and loads ducked him. Nigel Benn also fought anyone even Gerald McClellan. Everyone else was at least a little tactical with who they picked to fight and when, maybe not RJJ and Mclennin .

Hopkins is down right a POS the way hes picking, hes just trying to worm his way to greatness, when really hes lower down the pecking order of his generation than people think, I dont see how anyone could consider him an all time great hes not even 4th for his era, he would struggle for 5th

Clearly RJJ, Toney, Mcclennin, and Calzagge are above him, probably more are too the brituish fighters get under estimated because they are not from the US but clearly have better genes for boxing, id put Benn and Eubank above him, they would probably be strong competition for calzagge prime for prime
