I love Teddy. Few know boxing just as good. That said, he cant pick a fight.
Kov is in there at 75% with that rehydration clause. Its Canelos fight to loose. This fight is pretty much a sure bet for Canelo. Decision will instantly go to Canelo. Only chance Kov has is a KO very early.

      Teddy Shows Boxing's Suicide Wish

Teddy said, "I’d like to find somebody who would buy the idea that Kovalev has a snowball’s chance in hell to get a decision when (Canelo is) the face of boxing, the biggest name in boxing, he’s the cash cow of the promoter, and he and the network gave him $360 million dollars, so please, show me a sucker and maybe I do have a bridge for him"

Exactly, Teddy, and if this doesn't change, boxing's cash cow will get a case of the scours and die. Who will pony up big PPV prices when the outcome of the fight is already fixed?

Just wait for it on YouTube and watch the predetermined winner get his predetermined victory.

Sometimes though they do pull a switcheroo like everyone expecting Hillary to win.

Wonder what the final odds will be?

The re-hydration clause is just another in a long line of Canelo advantages in EVERY damn fight he has had since he became the so called "face of boxing". Morales & Chavez think he is a chump and doubts he is even in the top 25 of great Mexican fighters.

Canelo will be the stronger, fresher fighter. Kovalev is coming off back to back training camps with a long tough fight in between and struggled to make weight. Throwing the rehydration thing and kovalev’s age into the mix, I won’t be surprised at all to see kovalev gassed half way into the fight.

I thought Canelo's team said no catch-weight no rehydration clauses?!

                  Johnbook,

Kovalev needs either a solid, 13-count knockout, or he needs a supernatural jab that keeps Canelo so far away that Kovalev never gets hit. Other than that, he loses.

And he might lose anyway. Go watch Ali vs Cooper again.

But Atlas is right, Sergey isn't getting a decision win, no matter what happens. His only saving grace will be a stoppage win.

I will be very surprised if this isn't an action packed fight, no matter how it ends up.
Only way Kov is winning is Via KO, Vegas won't let Canelo lose via decision.

Can't stand Vegas but it is what it is.
