It’s ok to like one or the other.
I dont understand this line..He actually got more aggressive after that

Floyd fights the clock. He doesn’t fight the opponent.

If that’s what you’re a fan of, then hey, by all means.

I’m a big fan of Floyd as well.
He’s not one of my favorites though.
He never came to fight anything but the clock.

I don’t see it that way, Floyd was more willing to trade and you can see his opponents landed shot percentage drop after that. Either way the transition is what kept him at the top of his game and extended his career.

Hes not wrong. Mayweather was lucky enough to fight McGregor as his last fight and stop him leaving on a high note. If he retired after thw anticlimactic fight against pac or berto no one would of cared

He hit the nail on the head.

There’s fighters who come to battle their opponent, and fighters who come to battle the clock.
Floyd fights the clock, not his foe.

Real greatness doesn't need bodyguards in public."

Floyd was a terrible example, a rigged fraud. He ruined the PPV model with all his rigged sparring sessions and fake career. If Floyd walks into a fight or NBA game, he gets booed. That says it all. Pacquiao gets a standing ovation.

Tyson said that in regards to Ali's popularity. Pac's standing ovation is also in regards to popularity. Floyd played the heel, he knew people who hate him would pay to see him.

Neither has anything to do with his boxing ability which is p4p #1 of all time.
