is golovkin better defensively than kovalev?

Kovalev has to pump that jab all night, that is some defense to take away Canelo body attack.

GGG has no defense so Kovalev automatically has more defense. I think Kovalev is also a lot stronger to the body than people are giving him credit for. Sure Ward went buck wild with body shots that caused the TKO for their second fight but that was Wards very specific ability to pull off that kind of sustained damage.

Very different. Golovkin tends to cover up parry and block more, Kovalev uses his good (for a big dude) mobility to take him out of harms way, I just cottoned what Rozier did with both Jacobs and Derevyanchenko - tell 'em to just swarm GGG because although he does a good job of making sure he's covered up against the harmful shots, the leather is still landing and that can be enough to win the rounds. Slipping punches or moving out of range just looks better, even if it's not always as efficient.

GGG has no defense?????? You are a ***ing moron. The majority of viewers think he beat Canelo twice. How is that possible if he has no defense, dummy? Why didn't Canelo just hit him with 200 body punches and stop him if he has no defense? Shove your no defense up your GGG hating Canelo loving ass. Sanchez trained both Kovalev and GGG for a while and said GGG was superior to Kovalev on both offense and defense and he said that after he was no longer GGG's trainer. You are just trying to build up Kovalev to make a Canelo win better than it is. Canel is a 4 to 1 favorite to beat Kovalev but only even money against GGG. The bookies know who the better fighter is.

Kovalev defence is much better. The odds of a Kovalev stoppage victory is 6/1. Definitely worth a bet imo.
