    Questions heading into Canelo-Kovalev?

Does Canelo hit hard enough to hurt/stop Kovalev.

How will Canelo deal with the size, length and particularly the jab of Kovalev?

How will Canelo react to being hit by a Light Heavyweight?

How will Kovalev deal with the speed and bodywork of Canelo?

Is 8-9 weeks enough of a turn around after the Yarde fight?

How much motivation does Kovalev have left?

Really interesting fight IMO. Looking forward to it...

    1. Kova seems to be weak to the body and ginger is the best bodypuncher in the game, so yeah he can hurt him

    2. No idea. Canelo had trouble with GGG's jab and Kovalev's jab is harder and sharper. How canelo deals with that jab will be key in this fight

    3. GGG hits like a LHW and Canelo was able to take it

    4. Jab and grab

    5. dunno, but Kovalev should be able to crush 99% of MWs anyway

    6. unknown. I guess quite a lot, specially with the looming lawsuits from gold digging hos over his head. If he beats Canelo, a lucrative rematch could be on the horizon

      It's all about money.
I don't believe Oscar would risk his cash cow w.o. all kinds of behind the scenes stuff.
Once the 0 is gone, Kov happy for the big bucks which Oscar does not usually offer, so...

Does Canelo hit hard enough to hurt/stop Kovalev. heck no. canelo power vastly overrated. unless he eats A LOT of mexican meat he is not stopping or badly hurting kovalev. what top fighter canelo hurt or stop??? ill wait.

How will Canelo deal with the size, length and particularly the jab of Kovalev? he can't. kovalev too good at keeping distance and taking half steps back. this will look like mikey vs spence. bigger man will utilize their long jab and power punches to keep the smaller man at distance. also canelo has slow feet. he will have even slower feet carrying all that extra weight. he will look extremely sluggish on fight night.

How will Canelo react to being hit by a Light Heavyweight? he will get hurt BADLY. kovalev ko'ed a strong big cruiserweight (yarde) with just a jab. he has hurt many big light heavy weights with just a jab. not even mentioning kovalev's hammer right hand.

How will Kovalev deal with the speed and bodywork of Canelo? canelo speed will be reduced because of the extra weight he is carrying (he looked significantly slower at the recent public workout..and even gassed out quickly). and he has been doing weights for the first time which will slow him down even more. canelo won't be able to successfully get past the jab, right hand and kovalev movement. kovalev will tie him up if he gets too close.

Is 8-9 weeks enough of a turn around after the Yarde fight? it is more than enough now. kovalev is in incredible shape. best ever.

How much motivation does Kovalev have left? a lot.

GGG hits like a LHW? Then Jacobs and SD would be able to take punches from a LHW?

Maybe, but not nearly as good as Canelo, seeing how both of them got put on their asses by GGG at some point

              A few more

Will the judges give Kovalev a fair shake?

              Will the ref be competent?

Will the dehydration clause hurt Kovalev?
