    Yes. Happy to.

Joshua and Hearn knew Wilder and Fury don't want to fight AJ and will continue to duck him for years if not forever. Wilder is a pretender, Fury is already talking about going to WWE full time.

So that leaves Joshua and Hearn in a bad position, where they can't win. Keep beating contenders and everyone says, so what, you were supposed to win. The media starts complaining. Hearn wants to tap into the American market and Ruiz is the perfect drill being a Mexican. DAZN investors need big money fights to get a proper return. With Wilder and Fury ducking, the most profitable option for Joshua is to throw a fight to a challenger with a potentially huge demographic (Mexican) to set up a gigantic rematch. The rematch will be a major seller, all the Mexicans will tune in (which is huge). AJ will destroy Ruiz and will be back on top. And he will gain the American market, gain in stature for avenging the loss while generating future interest, AJ is great, he is the best but he is vulnerable. So his career will have new momentum, new selling point angles. If he just beat Ruiz by TKO, think of where AJ's status would be. Ah he's just the best in a weak era, Fury and Wilder should fight him but they won't sign a contract. HWT boxing is a mess. So it would be a negative cloud over AJ, even though he's the best. Fighting Pulev, Usyk would not have any buzz but now they do. Because AJ is seen as vulnerable. Make sense?

The fact that AJ let Ruiz hold the belts and pose with them at the weigh in was a big tell. You never saw a champion do that before a title fight before. Also posing and smiling with Ruiz in the ring after the fight was strange. AJ looked too happy. And his performance was suspect, he looked like he came to lose.

Joshua and Hearn are beholden to DAZN. They have to do what's best for DAZN to keep the money investing. It's not enough for AJ to just keep winning, he has to sustain generating huge revenues like he did in the soccer stadium fights.

Lol at all the people acting like Ruiz's obese belly being some sort of superpower he's lost.

That much fat around the midsection does nothing but weaken the body, his internal organs were probably ****ed. If he's smart he's been strengthening his core in his workouts to make up for the loss of cushion.

This just shows you how determined he is to keeping the belts. He's not fking around and will do even better than the first fight. Probably even end the fight earlier. Joshua has already taken too much damage that he is unable to recover from.

as for Ruiz, fatty took that fight on short notice, so what did you expect
So if AJ destroys Ruiz in the rematch what will you attribute it to, luck? Wilder has already said he will fight Fury again after Ortiz. This gives AJ and Ruiz the opportunity to do a third fight leave no excuses for Wilder not to face him.

Boxing is a business, it's also corrupt as hell. AJ and his team know that Ruiz is a low risk opponent, they knew they could get a highly anticipated rematch and trilogy if needed that they could win easily. AJ dropped Ruiz like it was nothing early in the fight, he knew right then who his opponent was for the next year.

he was a late replacement opponent for miller after he failed a drug test.

Are you serious? Are you of aware of the damage that losing to a late replacement fatass has done to AJ's brand?? Nobody believes he's the top guy in the division now, even if he destroys Ruiz. As for losing to Ruiz, he just underestimated his opponent and got careless and ****y trying to replicate Wilder's early ko over Brasil, got caught with a nasty shot he never truly recovered from.

BoxingScene gonna be flooded with AJ threads all over again on December 7th.

Won't be as bad as June though. We may never see something like that again. Shit was crazy. Every thread on the front page was about Joshua for like two weeks straight.
