The IBF didn't order the mandatory. He chose to do this over unifying with Andrade.

But its good to get it out the way anyway. The IBF already stripped him once and even stripped Canelo. Hopefully another camp with Banks will help build their chemistry and help Banks tweek Golovkin's style.

Where is the outrage from the GGG fans that accuse Canelo for ducking every big name at 160 and 168? He can avoid this mandatory by unifying with Andrade or any other 160lb champion. DAZN knows he would lose guaranteed, they don't want to spoil a possible trilogy fight with Canelo.

There is no outrage because its something that has to be done sooner or later. The IBF stripped its last two champions because they didn't defend their belts against mandatory opponents. Best to just get it out the way and hope another fight under Banks will make GGG better.

When he’s not complaining how Canelo is bad for boxing because Canelo refuses to give him another lottery ticket, Canelo is taking on tough fights consistently while Triple Gggift robs people and refuses to rematch them and goes on back to his usual steady diet of bin collectors and cab drivers!

In a just world the sanctioning bodies would force Golovkin/Andrade/Mall Charlo to all fight each other or get stripped of their titles!

Canelo always takes tough fights? Do you need me to make a list of all the tough fighters he ducked so he can beat up a guy who lost 3 of his last 7 with 2 of them being by KO.
