And he was cool with Lara, that's why he didn't want to fight him. Mell though said if he had to fight Lara then he would but then Lara lost to Hurd in a close fight which Lara could of made it easy & won but he wanted to go toe to toe.Comment

If you didn't, either it's selective hearing or you're posting a different interview entirely. I mean, he probably got interviewed about the topic more than once. at around 1:28 you can hear Charlo say "Yeah it be good for THEM" after the interviewer said it would be a good fight for both of them, and the interviewer immediately calls him out on it.
Charlo quickly runs away afterwards, after looking uncomfortable ever since Benevides was mentioned.
You can easily tell he don't want none of that just like he didn't want none of Jacobs.Comment
