Hopkins' lead right would've caused Winky all sorts of problems. The fact that Winky doesn't have a punch to make Hopkins look before he leaps would've made matters even worse.

Hopkins vs Winky would've been a very interesting fight. If anybody can truly find a hole in Winky's game it would be Hopkins. His lead right might catch winky without a perfect guard quite often through the fight. It wpi;d have been an interesting match, that's for sure. Not sure who I would've favored.
Oh, and they never fought because Winky was at junior middle most of his career and Hopkins was only interested in big $$$ fights by the time Winky got in the public's eye.Comment

Hopkins lead right wasn't a money punch at all later in his career. It was basically a punch that he used just to score with. Winky would walk him down all night and takes a decision.Comment
