With such a big fight weekend in Las Vegas, there was bound to be a little bit of drama along the way. For Friday's offering of Showtime's ShoBox: The New Generation, it came in the form of one scale fail among the eight participants slated to appear on the telecast. Juan Carlos Cordones miserably missed weight for his planned six-round lightweight clash versus unbeaten Roland Romero, who was among the seven boxers to successfully make weight for Friday's quadrupleheader (10:30pm ET/7:30pm PT) from Sam's Town Live in Las Vegas, Nevada.
