    Ok. Cool.

How did a judge have it 114 114?

Canelo got his ass taken to school and back.

Let's look at the biggest names on Canelo's resume and their age when he fought them:

Golovkin - Age 36 and 35 (Canelo arguably lost both)

      Cotto - 35

      Mayweather - 36 (Canelo lost a shutout)

      Mosley - 41

Those are the best fighters he has on his resume when you are talking about the overall quality of a fighter and not a single one of them was under the age of 35 when he fought them.

His best wins IMO are Jacobs, Lara and Trout. Jacobs was the best of the lot but still had a loss to an old Golovkin.

Lara and Trout ended up being not all that great.

Mix in wins against an undersized and glass jawed shot to s**t Khan, human pylon that didn't throw a single punch Chavez Jr, human punching bag Angulo, glass jawed part time fighter Kirkland and never were's in Josesito Lopez, Kermit Cintron and Alfonso Gomez etc.

Canelo is a good fighter, but he's not a great one.

The biggest names on his resume, the "STARS" were all old when he fought them...and he couldn't even come close to stopping a single one.

Was shut out by a 36 year old Mayweather, arguably lost twice to an old Golovkin and now he's taking on a "huge risk" in a 36 year old Kovalev.

If this wasn't boxing, if this was s**t happening on the street corner in the neighborhood people would not respect this guy at all. He's a career cherry picker. The name guys are older than dirt, most of the rest were glass jawed.

This is why people don't like the guy...there's nothing about him to ****ing like.

How about Canelo vs De La Hoya haha. But yes, I would say Oscar in his prime was a greater, more dynamic fighter than Canelo. Perhaps Saul's chin is a bit sturdier.

This is the case for any fighter that speaks or acts like they are bigger than the sport and unfortunately if you notice it wasn’t until he started the “face of boxing” thing that the heat really got on him..before the test and all that. I was still a huge fan at that point, the test result was the final nail in the coffin for me. Still think he’s a great fighter but it’s hard to overlook that failed test.

Most boxers and legends praise him. Are they ******? Are boxers immune to seeing his skills? Why would boxers and legends do him any favors to credit him if theory is he gets “gift” decisions?
                      Good post.

All highly skilled black American boxers respect Canelo's skills. Slick white brother. Only casuals or haters would think he has no chance against Kovalev.

Davis is his number #1 fan.
