any drug testing for canelo vs kovalev at all?

Even if there wasn’t VADA testing, which there is, the state athletic commissions administer drug tests for boxing matches.
There’s never a major fight that doesn’t have drug testing.Comment

he is enrolled with the wbc vada(cbp) program , never left 365 testing, now how often do they get tested?? i cant really answer that, but to say hasnt been tested at all thats also incorrect...Comment

Read VADA's press release.
It's dated 9/19 and it says VADA welcomes Alvarez back.
To welcome someone back, they have to have been away.Comment

thats the one specific testing for the fight, but he was already on the wbc-vada program... similar as ggg , he starts testing for fights around 30 days before the event and vada always welcomes him back despite being already on wbc-vada testing...
dont take my word ask any ggg fan who knows how he been testing recent years..
wbc-vada is 365 that means random testing all year, but is not the same as vada 365 which is more intensive...Comment

Boxrec seems to have added a little part showing VADA status in the last few days. Alvarez and Kovalev both enrolled in VADA says it expires next Oct.Comment

Nice find man...that is damning stuff reallyhttps://talksport.com/sport/boxing/6...lo-vs-kovalev/
“I was under the VADA testing, VADA has no money. I got tested once in seven months. Yeah, the WBC programme.
“It’s all bulls***, it’s a title that they give this programme and fans are so ****** they don’t even look into it or even do the research.
“Just because you’re on the programme doesn’t mean you’re getting tested that often or even tested at all.
“I was on it for the final part of my career. In seven months I got tested one time.Comment
