MayPac 2? How much revenue does it bring?

If it takes place in 2020, how many PPV’s do u think it would sell, and how much total revenue?

Pacquiao and Mayweather are still the top draws in boxing sports, other than Canelo.

If they went at it again, despite both being WAAYYY past their prime and 40+ years old, it would still generate a lot of PPV buys and make a load of cash.

    The first one did what?
    4.6-4.7 PPV buys?

I’d estimate a rematch would sell somewhere between
2.5-3.0 million PPV buys and of course the arena would be sold the fuggg out.

Even if it does half, it’d still make a **** ton of dough.

And Pac would probably drop Money May at this point.

    2 million buys...

No clue on revenue but more than any other fight by a large amount.

I think it does almost as well as the first fight. Manny is coming off of serious momentum after the Thurman fight and he will be a huge betting favorite due to activity. People will enjoy watching Floyd take that beating. Pac might even go for the stoppage.

The window has closed IMO. Floyd is retired. Only fights from here on out are exhibition related.

Exactly why Floyd would never risk it. Same reason he ducked before except the inverse now. Old man May is out of practice.

They are still the most well known among the casuals. When you browse some youtube about their fights (this is where most casuals you can find--this is their home), you could clearly see they are still at it. I would not be surprised if the fight could end up earning bigger than the first fight. It's not impossible at all.

Specially people by now had watched a lot of replays and those slow motion lol moment, you could see their comments in youtube about their reaction after watching replays. At the back of their mind, in the end, they wanna see who would really dominate who, because in the replay they are both missing their punches, they really don't land anything because their level is just too equal--they both can see everything coming at them. May be now that they are old, may be both of them have dulled their reflexes to a point. May be we get a more fan friendly fight, may be they get to land some good crunching punches this time that Casuals can enjoy.

Don't be surprised to get a third fight after that, because at the end of the day, it's all about the money. It's hard to sleep at night knowing you could have earned 100-300-500 million in just 36 minutes and you let it pass. When you grow old, these thoughts always comes back and then you try to convince yourself that it's ok. But you know that's bull.

Pac would sign in a second, no question.

Floyd won the first and retired with his 0, obviously has everything to lose and little to gain except money.

The thing is there is no doubt a lot of money still to be made with a second fight, a lot, and I get the feeling there is some truth to the comments that everything related to Floyd and money is exaggerated except the spending.

So no idea what Floyd's financial position really is, but maybe he looks at his insane cash burn rate and net position and $200M for 36 minutes becomes at bit more attractive. I mean him actually beating Pac at this point would be no small feat also, but I suspect it would be for the money if it happened.
