Douglin has ok movement. but his upper body movement is c+ level at best, and he had trouble getting in on Dirrel in their fight.

I wouldn't take too much from what he says. Canelo has seen out the speed of Cotto, Mosely, Khan, Mayweather, Jacobs, Lara. I think he will handle Kov's jab in the early going and Kov's lack of a left hook will make it easier for him as well. I'll be looking to see how Canelo's stamina holds up with the extra weight, as Kov will have him working hard constantly with feints in the early going, and that may be the key to Kovalev's victory

This is the type of David vs Goliath fight! Really intriguing, Canelo is crazy to take that risk. Big respect!

Kovalev low punch output will be his downfal. He won’t win in the judges scorecard if he out jabs Canelo, all Canelo has to do is throw more punches.

Ah, of course. Once a sparring partner speaks out, that’s when I can be sure a fighter is going to get whooped.

Obviously, Canelo thinks he sees something he can exploit in this fight or he wouldn't of took it. I think both these guys can handle each other's power. I don't see a KO, but I do think Canelo will be very cautious and disciplined in this fight. I just can't see him walking Kov down.

That said, I think he makes Kov come forward and counters with combos off Kov's lazier jabs. And I believe those spurts will be the moments that capture the fight. Canelo's rounds will be more obvious than Kov's and he'll steal some closer ones. SD/UD 12 Canelo

Im not sure that Denis duglin has the same capability that canelo may have when it comes to getting inside. All canelo has to do is the same lateral movement he displayed against jacobs which made danny over extend himself leaving him in range of canelos counterhooks etc.

If Canelo can slip the jab he is inside not sure how difficult that will be, Canelo can set up and punch fast and Kov is little gangly, I think the fight hinges on Kovs jab if its really effective an upset might be on, if Canelo can nullify it he will feast on the inside with sharp crisp shots.

Canelo has shown improved stamina. Kovalev tires. If Canelo can evade enough jabs snd can get to his body early he may be able to chop him down late. Canelo will have to bring it.
