Well it's certain that for Kov to win he's gotta KO Saul. Even if he does that, there's a good chance the knockout punch is judged as an illegal blow and Kov DQ.

I'm interested in seeing how Canelo handles a big straight right from Kov. Like the one that dropped Ward. If Kov times him coming in it'll be interesting. Canelo has good hand speed but he doesn't have that darting footspeed like Pac - which allowed him to get in range against bigger fighters.

If Kov fights a smart disciplined fight at range for most if not all of the fight, he has a decent chance of pulling this off. Canelos defensive skills are A+ but he has a hard time slipping jabs. I don't think he can afford to get hit with Kovs jab as much as he got hit with G's jab

Going to the body leaves you wide open, if Canelos gonna go downstairs Kov better make him pay for it or he's gonna be a world of trouble.

All this said, I got Canelo winning a decision. But if Kov can pull out a Ward 1 or Alvarez 2 performance we might see an upset

Kovalev needs to crack his ass early.

Sort of like how Pac did Thurman.

Really? Pac's KD of Thurman was about as feeble as KD's come. Guy got tapped running backwards.

Or the first few seconds of Pacquiao–Cotto round 1, when Cotto sent Pacquiao backwards with a hard-ass jab with his power hand. If only he'd stuck with that gameplan...

I'm fascinated to see what happens when Alvarez feels legit LHW power, but then I was among the many who thought a MW jab from Golovkin would rock him. Dammit.
