Canelo reaffirms what I said, he’s not draining at LHW for the scale

Remember that all fighters cut water. Again Crawford would be 153lb in fight night when he was at 135.

Not having to cut water must ideally be OPTIMAL performance since you’re not going against dehydration to make weight or “have the advantage.” Though it is said Kovalev will be 185-190 on fight night.

    So I believe we’ll be seeing a 178lbs Canelo vs A 188-190lbs Kovalev.

This is a very interesting dynamic. Can’t wait for the fight. This should be in theory Canelo’s best performance to date.

    WAR CANELO!!!

Canelo should win most smart insiders on both sides in boxing are taking Canelo. Theres a blue print from Kov's last fight so anyone who really studies boxing will go with Canelo in one of close swing fights where either could win but one should dominate. I got Canelo late stoppage or Kov UD. The Canelo stoppage is more likely to happen.

Good call. I’m waiting for the physiques at the final weigh in to determine body shot comparison in particular. Canelo will looked more filled up than the Fielding fight, Kova drained as usual. Draining to make weights makes a huge difference in boxing. Everyone does it depending on the weight they prefer to stay...

I'm just ready for the fight to get here...we're 3 days out. The speculation has been repeated and it seems as though there's not many new discoveries as of late.

I'm wondering if Kovalev's gonna come in light and manage his fight night weight, or will he look like he did in the Sharbranskyy fight (flabby and disinterested).

There's a significant size difference here and it all comes down to whether Kovalev's in the right mind to fight a smaller more mobile man who wants to work inside and counter up top.

Not to worried on the weight draining,i just look at last 3 fights ,I believe GG brought more problems for Canelo whio will have Kov's last fight to use against him, perfect time to stop him .
