I wouldn't go crazy, man, Maro's a fine athlete, but the yanks have basically got a production line going with their collegiate sports scholarship system. Maro's a superbly talented player as well, quite aside from his physical gifts, and I've no doubt he'd have success at whatever sport he turned to, but that's a claim it'd be pretty hard to substantiate.

EDIT: Though I didn't answer the question about where he'd rank as boxer cos it's unanswerable. Fighting's just different from other sports, though of course being a fantastic athlete ain't gonna hurt your chances in boxing.

He's built like a Linebacker and moves like a high end DE but is 6'5" 250 or something ridiculous. That's a lineman full stop but without being an oaf.

Best player? That's hard to say but he'd be a problem in the NFL if he developed the sport specific motor skills for it.

To put it in perspective, Aaron Donald, who many think is the best NFL player is 6'1 280.... Itoje dwarfs this man and he weighs less. Crazy. Built like Michael Strahan really.
