i like the look of lyakhovich.
he looked very solid against brewster but i have a feeling he cud have problems with wlad and valuev

There is none. The common public doesn't give 2 ****s about the Heavyweight division in most circumstances. I'd lean towards Rahman simply because he is American and can actually claim to have beaten Lewis... But I don't believe there is a People's Champ right now in the HW division... maybe Peter if he looks impressive against Toney since people love a HW with power in both hands and a ridiculous chin.

And as for who is actually my favorite... Peter or Toney.

I chose Brock just because he's from the city I live in. I don't really like the HW's these days.

I dunno about your common public, but when I was at a local watering hole on the west side yesterday, boxingwise, people mostly talked HW, very little concern was about either DLH or PBF, and nobody really gave two ****s, as u say, about others.

Your question was the People's Heavyweight Champ. I gave my personal opinion, and it wasn't Rahman, or even an American. I chose Peter, although he might actually be an American citizen, not sure....

Your thread title was the People's Heavyweight Champ.... so long as America is still the boxing capitol of the world the People's Champ will be who the American fans like the most.
