Will we ever see a Heavyweight get to 50-0? Brian Nielsen 49-0, Rocky Marciano 49-0, Larry Holmes 48-0. I’m 33 years old I hope in my lifetime I see a heavyweight make it to 50-0. Nielsen and Marciano so close!
What boxing record you think will never be broken?

Only stopped 5 times. Him getting as many fights as he gets suggests he’s just a fall guy with great ratings.
Edit: lol @ his alias “Mr. Reliable”.Comment

Lol @ his alias. "Mr reliable" lolI think Kristian Laight's record is impossible to break. Just look at his stats. I wonder what could keep a guy going after even 30 losses

Believe!
it's doubtful, in all honesty, because even if you open the history books up to include all forms of boxing known to western history not many men are even claimed to have gone 50-0 or better in the heavyweight division.
There is Glaukos of Karystos, Theagenes of Thasos, Melankomas of Caria, and Kleitomachos of Thebes from the ancient pygmachia version of boxing.
Theagenes is said to have won thousands of fights and unified the boxing, wrestling, and pankration titles, Melankomas is said to have never allowed a punch to land on him cleanly, Kleito, like Theo, unified the combat sports but went unpointed against in this Olympic run similar to Melankomas. As for Glaukos, he is the earliest example, just a farm boy with an awesome right though.
Take from it what you will, but, there is at least this. From 686-BC to the 300s AD the ancients only ever claimed 4 totally undefeated HW champions. I think that does speak to how rare an unbeaten HW champion really is.
Then we have the fencing with fists, honor duels era. Hardly anyone can be called a champion when fights are arranged by an honor system, however, not a single man in this era is claimed to have had 50+ fist fencing duels and never lost.
Which brings us to the bare knuckle era.
Tom Lyons
Jack Fearns
Ben Brian
Henry Pearce
Joe Wormald
But combined they didn't even have 20 fights.
Then, there's Marciano, 49-0 has proven to be a crazy hard number to beat.
Wilder's hardly got competition. The kids not a great boxer, but, lucky for him there's not a great HW active today. He might get another 10KOs before he hangs up the gloves. It's worth rooting for.
Ain't no Holmes to stop him, just a tall fat brit, a short fat mexican, and a muscle man. In most eras they're all weak, easy fights. Deontay can go 50-0. Let's go champ!Comment

Henry Armsrong holding world titles a 126, 135 and 147 at the same time while also fighting a draw with the middleweight champion. This was in the days of only one champion per weight class. Also Armstrong's number of successful welterweight title defenses and Joe Louis's record of 25 successful heavyweight title defenses. In these days of fighting less than twice a year it would take a heavyweight being champion for about 13 years to do that unless he fought more than twice a year.I think Kristian Laight's record is impossible to break. Just look at his stats. I wonder what could keep a guy going after even 30 losses
