Gone either way?? Are you nuts? She got whooped, plain and simple. She gassed quick and got beat up. That was one of the biggest robberies I have ever seen.

While I agree that if it was in Belgium it probably would have gone to Persoon, it could have easily been scored a draw at a neutral venue.
I initially felt Taylor was lucky, but upon reflection and a re-watch decided that was due to my predisposed opinions on both fighters.
Like many I'd only ever seen Persoon's record on paper compared to seeing almost all of Taylor's fights. This put a bias on my opinion of their individual abilities before the fight had even started, thus Persoon impressed me and Taylor disappointed.
For me it was a similar situation to Mayweathers fights with Maidana and Collazo; I expected one to dazzle and one to stink and when things didn't play out that way I cried foul at the result before re-watching the fight the next day with the volume off.
