At the time AJ also had a fight booked against miller/ruiz, and a rematch clause if he lost, so it was impossible for fast Eddie to guarantee Wilder any sort of title fight against AJ, anytime soon.

I "root" for good fight and the best fighting the best. Wilder has a proven track record of NOT fighting the best, just like Fury. They both talk a lot and then fight bums. There are at least 10 guys Wilder should have fought by now but he has an excuse as to why he cannot fight each and every one of them. I can't support this kind of cowardice. I would say that i root for AJ, because at least AJ tries to fight the best guys available. Sure he lost, but he took it like a man and took the rematch right away. And he will KO that fat turd in December.
